What’s a Typical Day at Adventures Vacation ?
Looking for childcare during the school holidays in the Metrowest area? You’re in luck! Adventures at PDC is offering an April Vacation week. At PDC we believe that just because it’s vacation time doesn’t mean the learning needs to stop. Just because we’re learning doesn’t mean we can’t have any fun! Children discover nature through hands-on exploration, active movement, outdoor play, crafts, stories, and songs. Interact and play with kids of various ages and from various towns. A recent study has shown: “Outdoor education and play support emotional, behavioral and intellectual development. Studies have shown that students who learn outdoors develop: a sense of self, independence, confidence, creativity, decision-making and problem-solving skills, empathy towards others, motor skills, self-discipline and initiative.”* At Winter/Spring sessions kids will be able to learn and play inside and outside. Work with one another and learn all while having fun.
How do you have a session…in the winter?!
we won’t have our glorious pool, we will have a lot of the things camp provides
throughout the summer. Edward’s House will be the main location for
winter sessions. Pick-up and Drop-off will be at Edward’s House. Although
a lot of the activities will be held inside, bring your winter gear because we
will be going outside to explore and play. We will do hikes, gaga,
athletics, and tractor rides in the winter. We can also go sledding
instead of bike riding! Keep visiting this page because we will be
updating it with themes and a list of scheduled activities for the vacation

camp was a huge success! We had a great time exploring the outdoors in cooler
temperatures. We also had a great time indoors playing games, making
crafts, and doing science experiments. Below are some pictures from
We couldn’t have asked for better weather during February Vacation. We had tons of snow so we went sledding EVERY DAY. We also built snowmen and snow angels. Inside we tried to keep it tropical with fun games, music, and fiestas. The theme for the week was STAY-CATION and it was SO much fun!
